Basic directions
Take I-275 South or U.S. 19 towards St. Petersburg to 22nd Avenue South, go right (or west) to Beach Blvd., turn left and go south on Beach Blvd. towards the waterfront area.
Another option would be to travel south on 58th Street until you reach 28th Avenue South and go left to Beach Blvd., then turn right - or, take 58th Street South to Shore Blvd. South and turn left and go to Beach Blvd. (which is past the beach parking lot on the waterside and before the pier).
From the North, Tampa
Take I-275 South towards St. Petersburg, crossing the Howard Frankland Bridge. Take exit #19 (22nd Avenue South) and turn right. Continue on 22nd Avenue South to Beach Blvd. (this would be equivalent to 55th Street South). Turn left, traveling south, on Beach Blvd. South towards the waterfront area.
From I-275 South
Take I-275 North towards St. Petersburg, crossing the Skyway Bridge (from Sarasota). Take exit #18 (26th Avenue South) and turn left, traveling west to 34th Street, then turn right. Go to 22nd Avenue South and turn left. Continue on 22nd Avenue South to Beach Blvd. (this would be equivalent to 55th Street South). Turn left, traveling south, on Beach Blvd. South towards the waterfront area.
Parking
General street parking is permitted except where otherwise indicated. Visitors are encouraged to utilize the beach parking lot just west of the Gulfport Casino Ballroom after 4:00 P.M. Permits are not required after 4:00 P.M. and parking is free. Oftentimes, daytime permit requirements are waived during special events and parking is available in the library and theater parking lot. Please check on availability.
